One workshop, one address, and everything happens here.
VLS Auto Repairs is a repair and servicing garage in Glasgow G22. We fix and service cars for anyone who brings one in, we run our own bodyshop on site, and we sell a small number of cars that we have prepared ourselves.
Everything under one roof
Mechanical repairs, diagnostics, servicing and bodywork all happen in this building, by our own technicians. Nothing is sent out to a third party.
That is the main reason we work this way. If something isn't right, there is nobody for us to pass you on to and nobody for us to blame. The job was done here, by us.
The cars we sell
We only sell cars we have prepared ourselves. Each one goes through this workshop before it reaches the forecourt, and leaves with 12 months' warranty that we honour here, in this building, rather than through a claims line.
That matters more than it sounds, because when we sell a car we are the people who have to fix it. A warranty repair is work we do for nothing, on a ramp that could have been earning. A car we have got wrong costs us twice over — once to put it right, and again because you won't come back.
So we would rather spend the money on the preparation than on the comeback. That is why we do the work ourselves instead of buying in somebody else's, and why we are willing to put twelve months on every car that leaves here.
Most used cars aren't sold this way. An auction trader is paid the moment the car changes hands; a supermarket is paid on volume. That isn't a criticism of either — it's simply how the trade is built. But it does mean they can walk away from a car, and we can't.
What we don't do
We're not a recovery firm.We can collect your car for a service by arrangement, but we don't do roadside recovery or breakdown callout.
We don't sell vans. Cars only. We do service and maintain vans for local operators.
We're one workshop, not a chain. Everything is done by the same small team, in the same building.
Who you'll be dealing with
Our technicians come from main-dealer servicing, diagnostics and accident-repair backgrounds. Scott Gallagher looks after the fleet accounts. VLS was set up in 2026, and you're welcome to walk into the workshop any day we're open and ask what we did to any car on the forecourt.
